Gainesville On-Air
Monday - Friday Lineup
Linda Flores
12AM - 6AM
It's a happy accident that I'm in radio. In college I was lucky enough to have a scholarship with the music/theater department and was studying to be a recording engineer. My dad worked for NASA making sure the astronauts could talk back to mission control, so I've been around sound equipment all my life. One day I visited the on campus radio station to drop off some music that I had just recorded. The manager pulled me aside and asked if I had ever considered being on the radio and I said NO! But he offered to PAY me and so... my radio career started! It's still kinda crazy that I get paid to do something I love!
Heather Jennings
6AM - 10AM
After more than three decades in this industry, I’m still as excited as ever to be behind the mic, especially here at I AM COUNTRY 106.9! Born and raised in Florida, I spent more than 20 years here in Gainesville, raising my two wonderful daughters, who also share the same love for Country music.
For me, radio isn’t just a job; it’s where I come alive. I’ve always believed there’s something truly powerful about it—it’s not just about playing songs. It’s about creating connections, bringing my community together, and sharing stories that really resonate. The Country Music industry has given me incredible experiences and the chance to connect with so many amazing people along the way. I owe it all to my listeners for giving me these opportunities and for creating a community that makes it all worthwhile. They’re the reason I get to do what I love every day.
When I’m off the air, you’ll often find me on my Harley, cruising down the open road with some good country music as my soundtrack. I’m thrilled to be a part of I AM COUNTRY 106.9 and can’t wait to share this passion with listeners who love the music just as much as I do.
Dennis Harrington

When he's off mic, he's into photography as well as audio and visual production that has been seen and heard nation-wide. Very happily married, Dennis is graciously tolerated by his beautiful wife.

Doyle King
8PM - 12AM
I was born in Dallas and raised the small town of Coppell, Texas. My step-dad was a horse trader, so I had my own horse at age 12 and I rode him to school a few times, when I missed the bus. I also love going to the outdoors and that's where you'll find me and the dogs at least a couple of times a week. I love music, of every genre. Guess it's a good thing I got into radio at the age of 19. Follow me on Facebook or on Twitter @ImDoyleKing
